HSPA (High speed packet access) is the next generation of mobile network technology. HSPA+ (also called Evolved HSPA) is a further evolution of the HSPA network that offers data speeds of up to 21 Mbps.  

You’ll appreciate the speed if you use the Internet on your mobile phone or smartphone, or applications like picture and video messaging.

With the HSPA/HSPA+ networks, you can now bring some mobile phones and smartphones to the Skytel  network.

CDMA 1X and EVDO are slightly earlier network technologies. Skytel uses all these technologies in our networks, although different networks are available in different areas.

EVDO (Evolution Data Optimized) is an evolution of the CDMA (code division multiple access) wireless standard. It’s the most prevalent 3G mobile network across East Asia and North America. CDMA1X is a slightly earlier technology.
